We are a group of both sighted and visually impaired individuals that believe in the involvement and equal opportunities between various social groups. We work to establish an inclusive community for all by ensuring the inclusion of the visually impaired at all levels refusing all forms of isolation and discrimination.
The Association was established in Beirut in October 1988 and officially registered in May 1990 under the number AD/57.
Membership in YAB is open to blind and sighted individuals who believe in YAB's goals. The majority of YAB members should be blind.
